Why is certification important?
As the demand for female hormone replacement therapy grows, so does the demand for high-quality programs for women and education outside the realm of standard board certifications.
Patients are increasingly researching providers’ education and experience, assessing their customer experience and engagement, and evaluating the ease of ongoing care. They are looking for physicians who are educated in advanced female hormone therapies who understand how estrogen works and looking for doctors who are not afraid to prescribe estrogen.
The AFHRT Certification provides women assurance that physicians and advanced practitioners have developed high levels of competency through rigorous classroom instruction, case study review, examination process, and continuing medical education such as hormone replacement education and clinical application training.
